The Docking Mechanism(DM) has docking and separation functions which will be cunducted by the 3 latch system installed in the Chaser satellite and the 3 capture handles installed in the Target satellite.
At the docking phase, the Docking Mechanism(DM) captures the Target satellite within 2 seconds. At the separation phase, it separates and releases the Target satellite about the velocity of 2cm per second.
